Question how to keep water clear

I have a three year tank 90g as my tank ages water gets more small particles I cant get rid of them how you deal with those dusty things? Sometimes I think to brake down my tank and wash each and every peace of rock or coral. Anybody can give me a suggestion?

Stupid question.... do you run carbon filtration? once in a while UV filter?

What sort of filtration do you have? Sponges, pads, socks, etc?

Do you have a protein skimmer, and what tank size is it rated for?

What kind of flow do you have? Powerheads? What's the GPH on your return pump, assuming you have one?

What livestock do you have? Some help clean, and some contribute to the mess.

I'm guessing you would benefit from increased flow in your tank, and more/better filter pads in your sump.

What are you feeding, and how much?
