So the IDEAL introduction method for anything new to the DT is to put it in a QT for a few weeks first. Now my question is when you put stuff to QT do you add medication? I ask only because some diseases can lay dormant within a fish for a long time and never show symptoms, only when the fish is weaken it will strike. So observing it for a few weeks might not be enough.
I want to add copper to the qt for any new fish just to make sure ich and velvet will be killed off, but will copper itself kill the fish?
can shrimps (cleaner, sexy, etc.) carry ich or velvet?
How to QT sand dwelling wrasses? cuz usually QT tanks are bare bottom.
