Okay so in march I started my tank woth dry rock. Now I noticed the rocks turning a dark brown. Its not diatoms cause the sandbeds pur white and I when I went to wipe to check of it was a late diatom bloom. Nothing happened. Now is thia normal or somthing I should be worried about. My po4 got a little high due to my r/o readingb2 tds . Im awaiting my replacement filters. If it is a phosphate issue what should I do to fix the problem. Of its natural then ill leave everything along.

Thanksb

usually diatoms will be on the sand and glass as well but who knows. Doesn't sound like a phosphate issue to me. As was mentioned , do a water change and run some carbon -gfo. and see what happens. Couldn't hurt.......
