hello all i was thinkin about buying a wet dry but i dont kn0w which is the best 1. i wanted 1 that i can put live rock and put a protien skimmer. money isnt the issue cuz im goin to get it with my taxes. i have a 55 gallon tank. rightnow i have a fluval fx5.

if you're looking to do live rock and a skimmer, you should do a sump and not a wet-dry. Wet dry's are typically used for fish only systems and a little outdated. Most reefers modify the wet-dry for thier needs.

I see that RSTIMEOUT is selling one in his FS thread - take a lok I think it's $65 - not pricey either

Jadakiss- you are better off setting yourself up with a sump. Make you own or pick up a pre-built sump. That way you will have the baffles (keeps bubbles from going back into your tank), compartments for heaters, carbon, etc, skimmer and you can plumb all of your stuff to your sump instead of the main tank.
