This tank is going to be mostly LPS and Zoanthids, along with a number of small fish and inverts. I want to have a variety of life forms to distract the eye as you're staring into the tank.

In addition to the above, I'm keeping an eye out for a nicely colored RBTA (or Yellow/Orange) for my clowns, but that's taking a back seat at the moment.

As for the frags all over the place.... I just transferred the tank contents last week, so I'm letting them acclimate to the light and get settled before I decide on a final spot for them.

For equipment.. it's pretty simple overall. Right now I have a standard 40 breeder tank that I drilled myself (Glass-holes.com overflow box and return).

In addition, I kept the 20 gallon sump from my cube build, along with the Marineland Utility Pump. I really like those pumps. They're quiet and have been working well so far.

The skimmer is my pride and joy of the tank, equipment wise. It's a Warner Marine AS-150. Yes, a bit overboard, but I'm going to have this tank stocked pretty well so I wanted an excellent skimmer to go along with it. So far it's been amazing. Very quiet and powerful. The skimmate in that video is only about 1-2 days running with 5 very small fish and 2 harlequin shrimp. I'm impressed.

As for lighting.. right now I'm running a 250 watt PFO Pendant with a Phoenix bulb. I like it but am looking at switching out, either to an SE Pendant with Pulse Start magnetic ballast and a Radium bulb, or just switching the bulb out to a 20,000K XM or something similar. We'll see what happens.

I'm also going to run 2x Powerbrite Actinic LED's. They're great, especially for the money. I will use them to supplement the metal halide, but also for dawn/dusk lighting.

Flow is provided simply by the MP10 on the right hand side, and the return nozzle helping out a bit.

Hey E,
I'd really like to commend you on the video. Much better than anything I can put together. Nice work. If you wanted to portray the 'feel' of your tank, you succeeded.

I think you should take a look at the frag cave pictured below. That would look so sweet somewhere above the tunnel on the left side of your tank. It would raise the rockwork just a bit, while offering you the frag plugs and locations for their placement. I think it would compliment your tank nice.

Again, good job,
Russ

Thanks Russ! Definitely tried to portray the "feel" of the tank. Next step is to work on a tripod (home made of course:D) so I can take video that's a bit steadier. Oh, and more corals will help :splitspin:

Tonight I'm going to be picking up a nice green trach. so that will be a step in the right direction.

Thanks Mike. I agree.. haha.. I can't wait to have it full of LPS and zoanthids all over the place... along with lots of little gobies and other small fish.

I just picked up a beautiful green, blue, and white brain. It's acclimating right now, but it's HUGE. I'm excited
