The 3rd stage Di canister on my unit always seems to be empty even tho I still get water out of my discharge (blue) line.Anyone else experience this. I can't see why or how water comes out the top discharge side if the canister is empty??? I used to think it was because I had the unit above my bucket to hold the R/O water and the water was draining out after I shut it off but I have since move it to below the bucket with the same results. The DI canister looks empty.???

It's ok, mine has always about a half inch of water and works great. My pressure is high though (about 100 PSI).

If your TDS is low, I wouldn't worry about it. Mine is ~2-4 after RO, 0 after DI.

It has to do with air in the DI canister preventing water from filling it all the way (to your eye). It really doesn't matter though.
