I was looking for a Racoon Butterfly to eat my Aiptasia. Well.........I found out that it was not very easy to get one. I had two LFS tell me not to get them and they would not stock them or other Butterflies because they could not keep them alive. Whats Up With That? I can remember an LFS back in the early 80's that had them and kept them without any problems. This is the fish that got me interested in Marine Tanks but I never did keep one.

Butterlies, in general, are difficult to get eating after they've been shipped in. We have the best luck with longnoses and semilavartus.

Peace,

I've never had any problems getting racoons or getting them to eat.
