So I got these lights when they came out , love em, no problems.....but like everything I buy I get bored of...so I wanted to see if any of you radion owners have programmed your own units in your own unique way and if you would like to share your program and explain why you created it that way?

Have you tried all of the programs that come with the lights? Why are you bored with the lights? I had my Radions for about two months and I'm still playing with different programs, I've created a few programs but ended up using the 12k and the all blue and I'm very happy with the results.

+1 on 12K.
Love my Radion Pros. The Radiance setting in Ecotech live is beautiful. Colors of corals pop, its redicolous.

I'm using the radiance program as well

Great look but probably should go to a lower spectrum for growth when I'm not around to view the tank

If you look at the ecotech board you'll find a pretty good discussion on the different settings

That's what I have to do is check out the ecotech board.....

Also, are you guys able to change the time for when your ecotech pumps go into sleep mode? I have them synced with lights but now as I'm typing I'm thinking for me to do that I will have to desync the pumps from the lights and set sleep mode manually on the pumps....

If you guys have these pumps, do you run different pumps settings for different light settings? If I'm correct for me to do that I think I would have to get the wxm controller for my apex? ..

And back to the lights , yea I always programmed my settings , maybe I should try the presets

also , have to think about what kind of lighting the frags are coming from. if they where under 400 watt halide and have really good color already , safe bet to find a good spot where the color looks good and try it there. you have to figure radions at full intensity are 400 watt halides. food for thought. i always go by where the coral looks best on the rock work , high , med , low ect and let it sit there. if it holds color... shabam. did that with halides too and it always worked out. found where colors looked best and left it there.

I have my MP10's going into sleep mode at a separate time from the lights. I had them synced but then changed my mind. I run the Tidal Swell Mode on my pumps. Hope this help.
