Got this coral just over a week ago. Am told its a RBTA. It got pushed by flow to the back of the tank and has stayed there the whole time. Here are three pics from when blue light first came on til later in day with full lighting.

Does this look normal?

Is this really a RBTA?

Thanks

I was told he was an RBTA. That it had recently split. I've been reading up on them and my visual expectation was premised largely on what i've seen in stock photos. I've been concerned that the flow was too strong for him but he hasnt moved. He just sits in his original spot. Not doing anything. Just like my wife.

That looks nice... congrats on the purchase... they will move around till they feel comfortable in a location. Depending on the nem... they can either be killers when it comes to touching other corals... or they can be harmless to them.
