I got a small RBTA that plit of a bigger piece from a fellow reefer around my area and i wondering about its base coloration. Ive seen pics of RBTA with green and/or dark a body. My RBTA's body has a red and white coloration and i was wondering if this is normal?? is it a different spieces of RBTA??

Thanks for the clarification. I have 2 rbta and one of them always has a bubble tip look to it while the other does not have bubbles tips. any reason to why one does not bubble up?

From the many threads I've read about this topic, nobody is 100% sure why some bubble and others don't.

It's still a Entacmaea quadricolor, it's just speckled. Very pretty. I had one that was green speckled. Not that common. Enjoy!

There are different strains on hosting anemones from different locations in the world.

Some colors are endemic to certain areas. Like brownish red base Magnifica anemones commonly come from Africa.
