I have a 110 gallon sump I just got and it's all ready to be put together. I'm going to have to do some new pipe work so priming and gluing will need to be done. I know they say that the primer and glue is relatively reef safe but what a safe time frame to let it cure?
Few hours and you're good to go. It isn't under pressure. With irrigation fixes we try to wait 24, but if needed we use it soon after.
I would let it cure for a couple hours rinse what you can and you'll be just as good as waiting to the next day. Same amount of residual from primer and solvent weld as well.
The glue will dry in 15 minutes but takes 24 hrs to fully cure. Make sure when you put fittings and pipe together you twist it about a 1/4 turn. Good luck on the build!
