Red Head Elegant Pseudochromis Dottyback

Guys... f'd up weekend. Major disappointment in my choice of fish. I bought this little guy b/c all my research showed he's considered more "peaceful" than other dottybacks, but he's as mean as the rest of 'em. This is probably the one that bit my Mystery Wrasse's tail. So I moved him out of my 90, and into the sump.

Then I moved my Cryptic Sixline wrasses, which were in my sump, into the 90, but then the Mystery Wrasse was bullying them... so I just finished catching the Cryptics and moved them back into the sump, and now have the Red Head Dottyback in a floating container.

To top it off, I also just got bought an Exquisite Wrasse (Fiji) earlier on in the night, which was getting beat up by another fish... so I figure, he should be peaceful, lemme get my Mystery Wrasse a buddy... so wrong... again. Now this Exquisite Wrasse is chasing my Mystery Wrasse around.

Thanks guys...

I posted a few pics of the Exquisite, but after work, I'll try to edit and post the same pics but zoomed in to show some more color... although I may hold off selling the Exquisite. The Mystery Wrasse doesn't seem as shy any more. Maybe he was just scared b/c the Exquisite is a lot bigger than he is.

I'll get a better feel of it after work.

**** UPDATE: EXQUISITE WRASSE IS NO LONGER FOR SALE **** (he's getting along with everyone now!)

I'm also going to try to float the Red head Dottyback in a container and let him float around the tank for a few days. Some say it works in easing tension. Hopefully it works. If not, he'll still be up for sale.
