Two weeks ago i replaced my mh because it was time. Five days ago my red open brain refused to open. I just thought it was beig dificult, and would open back up. It has been in the tank for over a year. I think it is just geting use to the light. I keep moving it around hopeing to get a response out of it, but nothing. Everything tested perfect, 0- nitrate, nitrite, amonia, 600 calcium, 9 alk. Everything else looks great. It is a realy nice coral and i do not want to loose it. So far it shows no signs of tissue loss, but i do not even want to get there. Any hints or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

stop moving it around and let it reacclimate...you can also throw a screen (window screens from home depot work fine) over the top of the tank so the change in bulbs doesnt shock your corals.
