red sea star questions

just wanted to get your guys opinions on this guy, couldn't really find much information on them other then that the red ones are the hardiest out of all the linkias. when i put him in the tank he was moving around exploring no problem, and then all day today he kind of hung out on a rock. are these guys nocturnal? will he become more active as he adjusts to the tank. the tanks over a year old so should be mature enough to keep him happy for awhile. thanks guys

I had one for about 8 months very hard to keep they r active sometimes and sometimes stay put for a day or two never heard of anyone keeping the for too long

well for 20 bucks, i would be really happy with 8 months, as long as i get to see him once and awhile. he was really active the first day and in the tank at the store before i bought him.
