Well reef octupus r the top line but expensive the cheaps u can get a brand new for 160.00 n it rated for 100g but try out this website it may help u out www.aquacave.com

Since this has gotten no where yet lol, To make this easier, which reef octopus and skimz skimmer you thinking about? Certain skimz are better then certain reef octopus and vise versa. which are you thinking about, what system is it going on? Size? Reef? Fowlr? Fully Stocked? Need more details in order to fully help you. Both skimmers are great brands and you would be fully satisfied with either. Not many reefers on here have that many skimz skimmers, they are kinda the "new hype" lately. Does not mean they are the best...or does it? still, need to know more to help you and which style your thinking about purchasing?
