What happened to reefermadness the website looks terrible in the new layout and seems they are charging for shipping now and have very little stock. No more eyecandy lol

Is it the same owners?

I'm fairly sure it's the same owners. The new layout is a CMS that I presume they installed to make it easier to manage items (the old system, while it was good eye candy, was probably a PITA to upkeep). Perhaps they haven't uploaded all their items yet.

Interestingly, the photos aren't as photoshopped as in the old website. Maybe they were getting too many complaints about accuracy.

Yup Len, the egg crate actually looks blue in the picture, considering they have them under 20kK bulbs and actinic lighting. I recall on RC the guy defended the photoshopping only to say that they changed the colors to look like it does with the human eye, arguably ok, however every tank I've seen with 20k bulbs has a definite blue glow around everything that was missing.

Also, owners don't always make or break an outfit, but facility managers quite often do.

I'm not sure about the owners, but Kris is still there as manager, so I figure it was the same guys running the show. Are they under new management?

Kris is who I dealt with before. I was looking for a certain coral and sent him a request he called me back with in a day and had a couple, worked nicely. Of course my tank crashed a bit down the road and I got out of the hobby for a bit after losing my acros and huge derasa, divorce, new business I just couldnt do it.

Anyway I am set back up now and cycling a new tank. BTW Len I got my rock from Marco rock as you and someone else suggested. Pieces are huge lol like volley balls.
