I've had my reefkeeper elite for awhile now and it has done what I needed it to do. Now I want to use the phone app with my android phone to monitor my aquarium remotely. Problem #1 was the fact that the net module won't open up for me to use the program. Problem #2 is that you have to set up a dynamic dns just to use the program which is not free. Problem #3 the customer service for digital aquatics is the worse that I have ever seen in my life. Problem #4 the phone app is a 3rd party app that only lets you view your current tank levels from your phone but won't let you control your actual tank. I'm think it's time to switch over to the apex. All I can say is that you live and you learn from your mistakes. smfh

i had a rkl now i have rke, i don't have any complaints very satisfied. i find their customer service very helpful. they have walked me thru over the phone or email with programming and other problems.
as far as the phone app i don't use it, so i can't say. contact skene he is very knolegable with reef keeper products.

I have an Apex so I cannot comment on the very model you are mentioning. However it is always good to start by being fair with a company.

DynamicDNS is not something you necessarily need to pay for. Download the Apex documentation and there is a list of all the services you can use for free... you will always need to go through such a system, no matter what device you use. I mean... it is not their fault if your provider can change your IP at will. (in my experience, they do stay stable for a loooong time)

I might hit skene up about that. Thanx. But how did u open up the program for your net module

im not using my net, I'm an idiot when it comes to these programable things. thats why i use their support.
when you call you do ask for support I'm sure? I'm really surprised cause i have called a few times and they were always very helpful. you should try again.
