Refuguim Lighting?

I have a coralife 65 watt light fixture that comes with a 50/50 bulb. I am going to use it for my refuguim and I wanted to know what is the best bulb to use and where is the cheapest place to get it?

JMO but you can use any light for a fuge. I have seen people use clamp on lights from a hardware store, but since you already have that fixture use that and use the bulb it comes with. Although I think a daylight (10k or white light would be best) . Just look around the forums for guys selling used bulbs of that size and wattage. other wise look to one of the vendors or sponsors of MR. What is the length and pin configuration of the bulb ?

I think anything bulb with the spectrum in 6500k will do great in a Refuguim.

Go for 6500 K for better algae growth

In my experience running 24/7 is more important to good growth then the spectrum.
