Is Eheim 1262 Pump too low on flow to sump?
I have MP40ES as flow in the main tank, just curious about the return pump capacity. The tank is about 6' high from sump water. This makes the Eheim 1262 (900GPH) to be effective 750GPH. Is it enough?

i have 2 1262's on my 150. 1262 is rated 600 gph at 5' head and i have two 1" over flow's that are rated at 600 gph each. i would think your tank also has two 1" over flow's, i would think you need 2 1262's

I'm running a single Eheim 1262 on my 180, I prefer a slower flow through my sump.

I will make up lack of flow from return w/ powerheads.

I would check out the water blaster HY 7000

It's enough if your principle theory is water return and not turn over rate. The majority of your flow should be from wave makers and power heads IMO. Usually a higher gph is needed if you manifold your return to run other equipment such as reactors or even a chiller (which causes additional head pressure thus dropping the gph).
A WB7000 might be a bit more then you need for 2 returns, the WB5000 would work well.
