I am looking to buy a new RO/DI filter. I see a lot of them on that big auction site. Their prices seem reasonable but I have no idea about the quality. They all claim to do a great job.

Some of the names online are WaterGeneral, AquaSafeCanada and EmcoPure. Some of them don't even show any brand.
Can anyone recommend one of these or another brand and why.

Go ahead and buy one from ebay, there usually isn't any quality control issues because literally like one company makes all the parts, and all the RO membranes, others just slap their stickers on it. You won't get any long lasting carbon, or silica removing material or any of that stuff, but it'll be just as good as any other standard system you buy from anyone else.

Just look at what is being given to you, sometimes your eyes might focus on a lower price, but then not realize the membrane is rated at 35GPD or something like that.

I would also suggest a clear housing for the sediment filter, that's usually a good indication on when it's time to change your other filters in the system, usually it's a $20 upgrade though.
