Wow, thats a pricey RO system. I'm all for expensive toys but thats a little too pricey for what your actually going to be doing with the system and whats really needed out of it. Its like buying a ferarri and keeping it in the garage and just jumping in once every week or two to rev the engine a little. You'll be able to get that feeling like you got something cool and special and be able to sit in it but noones ever gonna see it, and you can make the same noise out of something alot cheaper.
If your going to spend alot of money like that on a piece of equipment get a good wavemaker system or a fancy vortec pump with all the trimmings or a really nice overpriced skimmer. Or something more useful daily. You can get the same 0 TDS results off much much much cheaper systems.
I have an Air Water Ice system (typhoon) and love it. They are really built well (i was really impressed) and their customer service is amazing. I called asking about faucent fittings before i hooked it to my main line and said they had nothing for the faucet if it didn't come with the original accessories then ended up getting a bunch of faucet fittings a few days later from them. I also had a problem with the auto shut off which was actually working fine except for a few bubbles in the line and they also sent me a new one a few days later that i sent back. Ended up getting a booster pump which was plug and play with the system with minimal tweaking to PSI settings.
I dunno if you owned a RO system before but your only going to need:
5 stage with a good membrane
shut off valve
fast flush valve that you will use every 2-3 water changes
And... maybe a booster if your water pressure is around 40psi or lower to max out amount of good water vs waste water and membrane life.
Both air water ice and buckeye field supply have RO systems with all the above and more for around 140-170$. You can buy the inline TDS meters really cheap, forgot if it was 20 or 40$ per, for in and out water TDS readings although you only need out water. And if you need a Booster pump they go for 130$ in air water ice.
The control module seems like a glorified
ATO unit. I hope it does more than that, maybe controll the balance of the booster pump to maximize waste vs good water. I can assure you your not getting 1:1 water make up rates unless they underpower their membrane and are using a larger DI chamber to make up for loss in RO abilities or something along those lines. The mechanics of the filter systems don't permit it in conventional RO systems.
Save your money for something else for your tank IMO.
