RO / DI water

For the ones who dont have a RO/DI Unit? Where do you purchase water?

I have a very new unit but is unusable since my water pressure in my apartment is relatively low and instead of purchasing a booster pump, I'm thinking of just buying water for my top-offs and water change.

Any deals?

i have a local place in town that sells rodi for .75 a gallon

when i had a 7 gal i used to just hit the supermarket. i don't think the water was di though.. only RO.

i would buy a booster pump.. lugging water around gets old fast!

i would also just buy the booster.. what if you need to do an emergency change

i guess an intial investment is better than lugging gallons especially in the winter.

Get the booster pump. It also is good becouse you can run the perfect pressure through your system optimizing your ro output...:splitspin

only thing about the ro unit is i feel it wastes 80% of the water going through it and i have no use of the water since my apartment has no garden and to make a few gallons will waste alot more gallons, which will rack up the utlities bill.
