I picked up a RO/DI and I need to change the filters. Can I use any brand of filter are they universal or do I have to get the same brand as the RO/DI unit?

They're all pretty much universal except for the membrane, make sure you get the same GPD membrane as the current one.

Ok. So if I get the same GPD membrane can it be from a different company or same brand as the unit.

Definitely different company - they are cheap if bought outside the provider (typically) For example, Spectrapure replacement filters are a fortune compared to a similarly sized filter
