Hey guys, I'm thinking about picking up a rock anemone tomorrow to put into my 29 gal mix reef and wanted to know your experiences with them. I think my lighting and flow are good enough (jebao WP25 and an Evergrow D120 led fixture) and my parameters seem to be on point as my SPS are growing. My main concern is the anemone moving. I've heard that rock anemones don't move much, is this true? Also, how often should they be fed?

Rock anemones don't move much? They move just as much as any other anemone and will continue to do so until they are comfortable...If you don't like where they end up, my advice is just point the power head slightly in there direction .and they will usually start moving again

I have 6 i think , 5 of them stayed where i put them and never moved since , i have one that moved when i introduced it and then ut moved again when i changed powerheads , in general though they stay where you put them and dont move afterwards unless you put them in a cave or where theres no water movement or you get the occasional pain in the butt. But their sting is also way less pitent than any other anemone so its not a big deal if it wanders over to your sps
