OK, so I've finally worked out my RODI unit. Rookie was kind enough to give me an adapter. It fits inside my tap and the RODI unit screws over the other end. Only problem is it leaks!! There's washers both ends of the adapter and I've used teflon tape to stem the leakage but, still it persists. Any advice?? I would really appreciate.

This is the only way for me to connect the RODI as I don't wanna mess around with all the plumbing under neath the sink :dead1:

I personally dealt with many RO units and feel like this is an issue that every 1 faces. I might be wrongs though.
Are u using a metal peice or are u suing plastic?

If plastic, get a metal adapter in pet land. The female that u screw on top is plastic, so it is nt that great of equipment.

Post up a pic of those pipes under the sink we spoke about & I'll tell you exactly what you need.

I was in line at Home Depot getting ready to buy a part that would have led to leaking when another customer on line behind me told me exactly what to get. I installed it easily & never had a problem with leaking.

I think I still have the package so I can tell you the part # & you can go to HD & get it.

EDIT:

Pics of my cold water pipe. Notice how I bent it to an S shape to allow space of the adapter:

Yeah Dane you can cut the pipe but I just bent it.

I did cause a kink Frank but all is well, it's been like that for almost 2 years.

I see you're feeling better, Alex :)
