RODI water

anyone against the use of RODI water? I just got a 50 GPD unit. Seems like it wastes way too much water. Ready to go back to tap water. smh.

look into a 150gpd upgrade kit and a booster pump. check your tap water pressure. if its not in the 55-75 psi range, you'll waste about 4gallons for every 1 that you make. Bump that up. Also, make sure you have the correct flow restrictor, based on your membrane gpd, attached to your waste line. I did all of these and get almost a 1:1 ratio now all at 0TDS.

How many gallons do you use per week?

You want about 4 to 1, waste to product ratio to keep your membrane. Unless you don?t mind changing it frequently
