I did a little rearanging in my tank. I added a phosban reactor with some rowaphos. I ran it for a bit, then changed it to carbon when I did a FWE. Now my clams aren't looking too hapy.

I have 2 maximas, One I did a FW dip and one I didn't. They seem to look the same. I"m wondering if it's the rowaphos. It's iron based, so I wonder if that's what's bothering it. Its the only new thing in the tank.

Thoughts?

Here's the one I dipped. (pic is before the dip) Today the clam still looks like the picture. So there's not much change better or worse. It still reacts to lights, so It's not a gonner yet.

Thanks

How long ago did you set up the reactor?
Have you been monitoring your ALK levels? GFO can cause Alk dips

I've heard a few people have had issues with Rowa upsetting acros, so it's a possibility.

I set up the reactor the other day, and ran it for only a day. Then I took out (most?) of the rowa and put in carbon.

I'm running a polypad just in case right now. The clam I dipped seems to look the same (still not good) the one I didn't dip might actually look a bit better. We'll see.
