My resident Rusty Angelfish has been bullying my two new Dispar Anthias for the past few days. As soon as the pair try to come out of their hiding cave, the angelfish will swim over with all fins flashing and chase them back into the cave. They are all happy when I feed the tank and the anthias ate the first day. Should I attempt, hard as it may be, to catch the angelfish and put him in the sump for a few days to allow the anthias to come out of hiding or let them be and see if the bullying will end?

Note: The anthias are just a little bit bigger than the rusty

Yes, if you can catch the angel without tearing up your tank, giving him a time out in the sump is an excellent idea. Also good to rearrange a rock or two where he usually hangs out so he will need to find a new home when you return him to the DT. Angels can be very territorial :(

How about a pic of your new anthias :)
