Safe to use?

Have an acrylic tank that's 24x12x14high. it's made from 1/4inch acrylic.

The front and sides are all one piece. Would it be okay to leave this tank rimless or would I need a eurobrace?

I'll do that tonight. I'm pretty sure it'll bow, just wondering if I should be worried about it.

If it bows you should be very worried about it...with acrylic that thin it will crack in no time, especially with the return pushing water pressure on the front pane.

Kris, without knowing the engineering specifics I think it would be difficult to say for sure. Having experience with enough of these tanks and acrylic, I wouldn't use it without euro-bracing. Better safe than sorry. 17.5 gallons of saltwater on your floor isn't fun.
