I seen them for sale a a LFS and wanted to know if anyone has had Sand dollars in their tanks and what they eat and do they live in the tanks well or not good for reefs

not good for tanks. the short answer is they need a large sand bed to support them. they forage in the sand for food.
also if they did well in reef tanks they would be for sale on all the online dealers, I've never seen them for sale so take that as a big red flag as well.

how much sandbed to they need they are a little bigger the a quarter... I'm not talking a large one that you would find dry and bleached white at a store

ever seen the shoreline, about that much sand ;)

small ones grow up to be large ones then what?
I'd inform the store they should not be selling them and tell them why.
It's irresponsible to sell them.
