Thanks for all the advice and answer. Here a lil more info on my part on why I wanna get rid of the power heads or sand. I have two wp60's that turns my tank into a sand storm. It's a 180. I drop down to one power head and it's the same thing. The sand is no longer under the rocks at times I have to push it back under the rocks. I have it set to the lowest setting and still the same thing. Love the flow and movement it gives but hate the sand storm

With a tank that size, why not switch it up so you get good flow all over the tank? Maybe 2 power heads on the back of the tank and one on each side. If you're not going to swap the sand out for larger grain sand maybe use rw8's on each side and 2 rw4's on the back. I think you would get better results that way.

I run 2 rw8's an MP10 and a wp25 on a 65 gallon with larger grain sand and crushed coral. No sand storms no cyano and the flow keeps sps happ, the debris suspended and going down the overflow to my sock and skimmer. More flow is usually better.
