So moms,house was destroyed, my Cousin lost his house and my uncle lost the basement of his house on tuesday... They got evacuated to a shelter and I went to pick them up. I lost power on Tuesday also. So I have been cleaning up their hoses trying to get them back to normalcy. My restored 1988 ss monte Carlo was destroyed floated away at my moms
I just came to find my whole tank gone all fish are dead all my coral are dead. I had a inverter running the filter and a pump but with out power had no heat tank got cold. So this week sucks!!! I lost my car hobby and I lost my fish hobby in a
Matter if days and I feel bad being angry because my family lost soo much more... This story is gibberish but I had to vent idk if I'm gonna keep the tank up soo long soo much work and gone in 5 days... Thanks for listening

So sorry for the huge losses to your family & yourself.
...everything happens for a reason, even if we don't understand what that reason is..
Take the losses out of your tank and let it run on its own for a bit, it sounds like you need to focus on your family first..the rest will come together..hang in there! :hug: We're here for you!

Give everything some time to settle down. This hobby takes a lower priority to everything else you and your family has gone thru. I still don't have power but keep my tank running on generator power for the last week. When the time is right I'd be very happy to let you come over and snap off a piece of anything you would like.

Sorry For you loss, how you and you family get back to normal soon,still waiting for power in staten island, but no power is nothing compaired to what you have gone throught. when thing get better and you want to do another tank I am sure you can get lots of free frags here.
