ok so in another thread i said id smack the ish outta a goblin shark but in all reality..im a bit affraid of the ocean. Even though i'm a pretty good swimmer and i grew up on farrockaway beach, Jumping off the pier on beach 9th and all that. I think i'm terrified of swimming with fish in the ocean. The movie Open Water coupled with the fact that my friend went swimming with her fiance only for him never to return to shore - has me a little bit on the b!tc* @$$ side. I love the Ocean and all of its inhabitants but as far as scuba diving, I dont think i could. Though i have before on rockaway beach. i was terrified. If anyone would offer me a trip to go diving and id have to pass. maybe one day i'll get over my fear but right now i'll just enjoy looking at my tank.

on land in North America, I'm pretty much top of the food chain. Nothing short of a kodiak or brown bear is gonna just up and eat me.

In the ocean, all bets are off, and I'm in the middle of the food chain.

I'm okay with that.

Couldn't be me. I think getting eating alive is THE worst way to go. Now getting eaten alive by any sea animal in the middle of the ocean in pitch black water?. That has got to be hell.
