They really work. I bought two at the NJRC Frag Swap and I found the flow too strong so I went back to my standard MJ600's. If you are interested, I have two of the MJ600 mod kits - I think they were $40 each - you can have both for $40. PM me if interested and LMK. Thx.

The guy who makes them is in NH or thereabouts, he is a really standup guy. I used to have one of his originals that he milled out of PVC in an excruciating amount of time. It worked really well, always started up, tons of flow, VERY quiet. I have heard the newer brands (eco, sureflo)are noisy, but I did hear the gulfstream mod was good too.

Thanks. I was at New World today and bought an ecomod to try. It's noisy as he*k, so I'll be returning it. Might try to sea flo for maxijet 1200s. Seems the price has come down. The sea flo website lists it at $27 each.

i have the gulfstream by triton, got it few weeks ago. after doing some research,i went with this cause i've heard on 1200 model, most others models developed noise problems.
they r $25 each shipped ,a bit more $ than others.
i had it on a wavemaker. it worked fine n quiet(except a low hum)when u stand close. a few days later,it started rattling like a mother. i hada take it off then contact triton. they informed me the propella was bad n was a known issue. they sent me an improved propella n has been working fine for over a week now.
i'm wondering if i should put it on my wavemaker. i'm afarid the rattling problem will re-occur if i did that.
