Mike, I have to differ with you only a little on this one - I agree with you that if your methodology is good and timing is as well, you can do it - you did a 30 to a 58 he is doing a 30 to a 140. Very different response time from the rock, sand, water etc.

Again, that's just my experience.

Thats not really the garf way considering she wants you to use florecent bulbs no calcium reactor only seachem products, changing it a little bit, will use seachem products for about 6 months then i'll turn on the calcium reactor, and drop the chemicals after that.., ? should i wait to turn on the skimmer like 6 weeks or should i fire it up asap
