I think scolys are some of the prettiest corals available out there, especially the australians. I know some of you have amazing specimens... show them!

I'm hoping this one colors up (just picked it up today)

god damn, that's sick Len.

Your pic looks even better than theirs. There's some streaks of purple which is cool too. How big is it?

I picked up a couple of very small scolys for a reasonable price ($60) and I used to like them a lot, but I realized they grow way too slowly. The large and nice scolys are way too expensive too. Come over to the bay area and there's plenty of crazy show sized scolys, but they tend to sell between 200 to 300.

It's about 2.5". You can see it in the context of my tank in my build thread (jumps out at you). One of the reasons I bought this one (aside from the color) is the cool little bumps all over the middle area.

Man, those are some sweet looking scoly's.

I need to find one that will fit in my 28G nano. I don't have a lot of room for it to grow.

They are all pretty small (under 3"), and they grow pretty slowly. You're good with just about any aussie scoly.

Very nice! I have been wanting to pick up a red Australian one recently but haven't seen any worth buying. Can they tolerate high water movement?

Mine are placed near the bottom, but they get a good blast of current from my Vortechs. They seem to do fine in most any condition.
