Shy Fish

I know basselts can be shy but ever since I removed the damsel,he's still hiding.Does come out for mysis shrimp though over than that,hiding.

How long have you had him for? Mine was real shy and only came out to feed but after a week or so he is chilling out in the open. Now he is out all the time and comes up to my glass when I'm near the tank. I love how all my fish recognize me for feeding time and gather all around me.

what other fish you have in the tank?from my own experience this plays an important factor aswell..i added some blue green chromies that are always in the open ,kinda persuades other fish to come out and play
