whats the different between Black Silicone and Clear Silicone in a tank

Black absorbs all spectrums of light and creats a "dark" effect on the glass and creates some contrast. While clear is actually opaque and looks closer to the clear glass so has more of a tendency to blend in. But its not like your gonna hide the seam either way. It's strictly cosmetic.
