Skimmer choice ? Down to two selected after countless hours of research?

OK, have narrowed my selection to two skimmers that I'm interested in what are your thoughts, experience with these two skimmers both pros and cons,

I will go with either the Aqua C EV 240 or ASM 4-plus, what I like about the AQUA C is there is no beckett to get clogged etc.. and they set the gate valve nice and high so the need to raise the skimmer in the sump is not a concern, no set screws to fuss with or break and only requires a 1\4 inch clearance to remove collection cup.

The ASM 4-plus seems to be more simple in nature but from what I've read are very effective, water height in sump is not a concern with the asm and comes with a sendra 9000 pump.

I really do like the EV 240, seems to be well built?

Whats your thoughts people on these two skimmer choices for my 150 fowlr???????????

Running a ASM 4 with dual recirc on a 300 gal and it pulls great! mid wet to dry skim mate. Very easy to clean also.

The EV 240 will take a big pump to run and is loud.

No beckett to clean on the EV240 but you'll have to clean the spray head just like the beckett.

You'll be upgrading from either choices if you stay in the hobby long enough :lol2:.

ASM 4 Plus all the way. Forget spray injection and becketts. Without a huge pressure pump they are worthless. You will regret it. ASM G4 or equivalent Octopus Recirc Skimmer.

I have heard that the Euroreef RS 180 is even better then the ASM due to better quality material used. This or the API bubblemaster 250 might be my choice. At this point I have ruled out all beckets and spray injector type skimmers.
