skimmer for a 7 gal. bow front?

ok, I'm venturing into the mini reef world, does anyone know what I can use for skimming on a 7 gal. bow front?
originally when I started this project I was planning on using the Berlin Prizm "link below", but a resent post revealed a 50/50 satisfaction result, so know I'm a little hesitant on using it, any other idea's or should I just go as I planed originally.

With only 7 gallons, I myself would be tempted to just skip the skimmer--a lot of people are doing it successfully with tanks almost 10x larger than yours! Keep up with the waterchanges (won't take but a second to do a 1 gal change every month).

You'll save yourself money and noise.
