Skimmer over bubbling when carbon reactor is on

All the sudden my protein skimmer went bubble crazy. I just did a water change yesterday and it still was over bubbling and I couldn't slow the bubbles down at all, now it's working fine but when I turn my carbon reactor on the bubbles get out of control. Any idea why?thanks

how close is the output of the carbon reactor to the skimmer? i honestly have no idea what could be wrong just throwing ideas out

It was a little close, my brother said cause its a new skimmer it might have finally broken in all the way and now the carbon reactor return line should be moved further away for skimmer and that solved the problem with over bubbling. Thanks for the advice. It's amazing when stuff happens with no idea of why its happening!
