Skimmer Question

Hey everyone, I recently purchased the Vertex Omega 130 for a 75 gallon tank build. I just decided that I should go with a 90 gallon tank since its the same foot print but taller. Will the Vertex Omega 130 be a good skimmer for a 90 gallon reef tank thats moderately stocked with fish? Its rated for up to 100 gallons.

Depending on what you consider as moderately stocked you'll be fine. Even if the 90 was heavily stocked the only difference would be more frequent cleaning of the cup, I say your good to good

Hey, thanks for responding. What I mean by moderately stocked is about 4 small fish, 1 kole tang, and LPS/Softy dominated.

Good to go. That's a good skimmer as well so it should serve you well
