Looking for a new skimmer ,I am looking at the reef octopus classice AQ and the Regal. The Regal is nice but way to exp for me. The classic AQ does not have all the goods the regal has but in price range .I have a 100 gal system any suggestions on other skimmers?

Probably about 200-300, the ReefOcot 150int aq classic is about 195. I was thinking about this but it does not have the diffuser plate .

Bubble magus curve 7 or 9 or any reef octopus skimming in the 150-200 models...or even a aqua ev skimmer.....what's your space to play with in your sump chamber?

My space is about 10"x 18" . I have an old it tech 200 with a tunze hydrofoamer on it and it just vibrating like crazy the cord is tearing from pump, I had to silicone it to seal it. Also wasted 55 bucks on a new impeller . it so noisy and I have to constantly adjust it. good ol tax money.

I am loving the BM Curve series so far. I have a 70 + a nice size sump. Running the curve 5. Almost at its limit and will move to the curve 7 when I am stacked with SPS.

There are usually coupon codes to get the price to that 225 mark.
