sliding tank?

ok, starting my build..decided on a 3'x3' cube 24" high...approx 140g.
I have a small area to put it in and need some work space, so my beautiful wife suggested I look into a rail type system, has anyone heard of anyone else doing this...
was thinking about carpet or moving sliders set up under stand, but im concerned the weight might be too much for those to properly work...
