In my 30 I have 5 Turbo Snails, 8 Blue leg Hermit Crabs, and a peppermint shrimp.

I don't think the peppermint ever does much cleaning. It just cleans up missed food. Which is useful.

The majority of the snails you commonly see at Saltwater Aquarium stores are fine. The most common are Astraea's, Margarita's, and turbo's. These would be good for the rocks and glass. For the sand look for nassarius, cerith, bumblebee, and conchs. If you havent looked online check out marine depot live or live aquaria. Go to the snails section and you will see the choices and brief descriptions. HTH

Astraea's, turbo's, nassarius, cerith, and bumblebee. Get a few of each. I do not like crabs.

Ditto what Wazzel said.. - A variety of snails will work out best.

If you look at some of the cleaner crew packages at the online shops it'll give you an idea of about how many you might want to consider. - From there I would do two things:
#1 - Trim down the size of the whole package by roughly 2-5% of your recommended tank size.
#2 - Try to buy them from your LFS instead of an online shop. Its less hassle, better chance of getting more of them ALIVE through your door and it also supports your local economy and helps keep your LFS owner in business (who is right nearby there for when you might need something right away in a pinch.)

I also agree with him as far as crabs too.. - They are pretty much opportunistic feeders which means they will eat just about anything they can (which sometimes means snails.)
