So exactly how important WAS that support piece?

So I fixed it tonight but I have to get up waay early tomorrow so I will post pics on Saturday. Basically just took 4 grommets and drilled them through the plastic and ran cable through them. Smashed a pair of aluminum holders onto one end and locked the other with screw locks. Actually looks pretty good and a heck of a lot more light gets in now as well. I will post pics saturday. Dang army thing messing with my tank time. lol :lol:

Maybe I need to consider something like that. I still have 2 years left on the warranty though.
