I have some Marco rocks that I got at MACNA last year, did you win yours at our swap? Be sure to cure them before adding them to your tank.

I love the shape of them but have to say I have never run across rock that is SO hard to break (I wanted smaller pieces for what I was using them for). After trying a hammer, I resorted to throwing them (forcefully) onto my concrete basement floor..and dented the floor.
Pretty rock though!

You should never reveal your alter ego Kathy lol! I didn't get the Marco rocks. I'm just trying to find out who did so I can see how they look in the tank. They are great looking rocks and I'm thinking about getting some. If they're as heavy as you described I wonder how porous they really are.

They have great shape, lot's of area for flow to pass through but they are far more dense that I expected.
