On Saturday I got a few frags from a local reefer. A "purple haze" monti, an "exotic bottlebrush," A frag of a wild A. subultata, which if it holds it colors will be an absolutely stunning coral... thats a big 'if' though, and a baby blue staghorn, which is actually, truely baby blue, polyps and everything.

I'll try to get some pics of the new additions.
They are on frag plugs though :evil: :evil: :evil:
They are great for the person growing frags, but they are so hard to put into the aquascaping and have them look natural. I hate them.
Oh well...

The lighting is 2 x 250 watt DE Phoenix 14k
Thats it, no supplements. Its a pretty low-light system comparatively. But I think the color looks natural and the corals are all very healthy.

I run a very cheap CA reactor. I don't have a kalk reactor. So far the CaRx keeps up with demand just fine, but I bet as some of these frags grow out that will change.

Here is a pic of my sump. Over-all I think I have a pretty simple set-up.
