Since i've had no luck in finding it at a lfs, where else can I turn to find a quality live sand?

Anyone had good results with Inland Aquatics' cultured detritivore kits?

Thanks for the info!

Surely someone has experience with live sand or Inland Aquatics to help this fella out.

IMHO, you will get the most diversity from other reefers, try getting some from other reefers in your area. I am sure that most people would be happy to supply you with sand from their own tanks!

PA has crud from the bottom of their live rock tank that you can buy for something like a buck a pound. I bought some along with my snails and urchin. It is ugly though.
