Spawning season for snails?

Looks like a lot of folks had their snails laying eggs. Mine did as well. The question is are they going to hatch, or will be eaten by other tank inhabitants? How long will it take to hatch? Can't wait to see the younglings.

Depends on the species of snail and how well fed they are.

Btw, do snails lay unfertilized eggs like hens?
